Comments On the CFPB’s Proposed Changes to Section 1071 Applicability

With the CFPB having proposed a revision to the Small Business Lending Data Collection Rules, public commentary is being accepted on it through December 15th.

Fifty-two comments have been submitted so far with the majority of them being publicly accessible online. “Agencies review all submissions and may choose to redact, or withhold, certain submissions (or portions thereof),” the Federal Register says. “Submitted comments may not be available to be read until the agency has approved them.” Comments can be signed on behalf of an individual, an organization, or anonymously.
