Job Description
The Sales Manager is responsible for selling our financial products, building a pipeline of business, working well in a team environment, and should always be closing. The ideal candidate needs to follow set protocols and business practices to efficiently work leads, track the flow of information, and accurately document all outcomes. The candidate should also be an expert in the various financial products while meeting and exceeding monthly quota and expectations. The above will be achieved through hard work, AmeriMerchants extensive training program, and through the guidance of management.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Expand existing Telesales office: Recruit, Hire, train and develop
Generate revenue from within the Telesales team.
Oversee the day-to-day team activity. Coordinate and roll out new product launches.
Reporting
Sales Metrics for the entire sales department
Overall management, supervisory and budget responsibility for all aspects of outbound telesales call center.
Develop staffing plans based on sales/order forecast and estimated non-order activity
Develop and implement scripts
Create call handling strategies
Monitor, coach and mentor salespeople
Track call center performance data and quota levels
Motivate the team to reach expected performance levels
Develop and implement hiring and training plans to meet staffing needs and business cycles
Create very innovative outbound selling programs
Possess an ability to train Sales teams in outbound re-selling
Understand the product line and the demographic base
Quickly get up-to-speed on the proprietary database
Monitor, coach and train Associates to ensure 100% quality service levels to Customers
Contingency and preventive problem solving to ensure consistent, quality performance
Meet service level standards (time to answer, abandon rate, queue time, turnaround time for response to Customers, etc.) without negative impact on productivity goals
Identify opportunities for maximizing the CRM software, including maintaining and upgrading the product information database
You will also be responsible in assisting your group with all aspects of the sales and underwriting process. For example, helping with sales calls, application submission, training and educating on new and existing products etc. You will also be part of the hiring and interview process for additional reps moving forward.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience inside and outside sales, strong drive, competitive mentality, strong understanding of small businesses, and all aspects of lending.
Demonstrate success in selling, working within a team environment, problem solving, and strong analytical and listening skills
Previous experience using Salesforce.com and proficiency using Microsoft Office are strongly preferred
Solution selling experience preferred
ISO background (plus)
Bachelors Degree
Languages: English (Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply)
