Portfolio Manager – Leading National Specialty Finance Company
Hours: Full-Time
Compensation: Base Salary plus discretionary bonus and benefits, including health insurance
Location: Miami, FL
Description
The primary responsibility of the Portfolio Manager is to oversee the day-to-day activities of the collection department, including training and supervising staff. The Portfolio Manager will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will oversee servicing of and reporting on the company’s portfolio of merchant cash advances.s
Responsibilities to Include:
• Manage the overall receivables process, including monitoring customers entering collections and ensure the proper timing of all collection activities;
• Provide training and support as required for the collection staff;
• Manage collection practices including evaluating, recommending and implementing improvements in both collection processes;
• Oversee portfolio analytics and reporting, including static pool analyses;
• Oversee all third-party collection agents and attorneys
• Respond to all collection related Attorney General and Better Business Bureau complaints;
• Manage and maintain records of all commission payouts for the department;
• Communicates professionally with all internal and external customers;
• Meet all collection goals set by management;
• Adhere to all State and Federal laws that govern collection activity.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related business degree
Position Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of collections management experience, with a specific focus on commercial and consumer collections
• Excellent communication, organizational and management skills
• Detail oriented and excellent organization skills
• Proficient computer experience with entire Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to read and comprehend legal documents
License and Certification Requirements:
