We are seeking a highly skilled Merchant Solutions Manager to join our team. This full-time role is ideal for a proactive leader with a strong background in finance and exceptional analytical skills. The primary responsibilities include developing strategic funding plans, managing relationships with key funders, overseeing funding operations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role demands a strategic approach to securing and managing funds, mentoring junior team members, and driving revenue growth.

Compensation
This is a commission-only role with significant earning potential. As a Merchant Solutions Manager, you will receive a commission based on the successful management and allocation of funds.

This unique hybrid role allows you to earn commissions while you manage, providing an excellent opportunity to maximize your earning potential. To address potential conflicts of interest with sales staff, clear delineations will be maintained between managerial duties and sales activities. This ensures that management decisions are made impartially and do not unfairly advantage or disadvantage any team member.
Payment is made via ACH within thirty (30) days of the company receiving funds from the sales you generate. As we grow, there will be opportunities to transition to a salary + commission structure.

- Lead the development and execution of strategic funding plans.
- Manage relationships with key funders, including government agencies, foundations, and major donors.
- Direct the assessment and mitigation of funding risks.
- Advise senior leadership on funding trends and potential impacts on the organization.
- Expand the organization's funding base through innovative strategies.
- Mentor and develop the funding team, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Oversee the implementation of financial controls and reporting systems.
- Drive sales and revenue growth by meeting and exceeding funding targets
Qualifications
- Proven analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in strategic funding management, financial analysis, and customer service.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team.
- Prior experience in the finance industry is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; CFA or equivalent certification preferred.
