Anyone out there funding as little as $1,000 or $2,000 to micro-businesses or really high risk businesses? Or are these basically garbage?

Garbage. Even D Paper Lenders are often looking for $5,000+ in monthly revenue. If a prospective client is seeking just 1-2K chances are they're not doing anywhere close to that. Also, think of the time spent on the deal in proportion to the amount you'd earn in commissions. You're going to work 10X as hard on the deal to earn less than a 1/10th of commissions.
