Looking for start up funding

This might be a long shot, but I had a guy contact me yesterday wanting $25k-$50k for start up funding. He is starting a carpet cleaning restoration business. Says that he has 13 hotels lined up and ready to do business with him and has the contracts, but needs money for the equipment. His credit score is 533. Has no tax liens against him, and no collateral.

No, I don't think so. He worked for a company for 13 years that is now going out of business, and from what I understand, he is taking their spot.
