CFG Merchant Solutions, LLC (CFGMS) is a rapidly growing specialty finance company that provides working capital to small and medium sized businesses throughout the US in the form of small business (cash) advances and Merchant Cash Advances. We are looking for an enterprising, articulate, well-qualified individual for the position of underwriter. This position would work out of our downtown NY financial district office. If you are a highly motivated, ambitious, experienced underwriter, there are very few platforms in the cash advance industry where you can maximize your personal compensation, like you can under our model. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Issuing pre-approvals and terms to prospective clients
• Analyzing data from prospective merchant’s; applications, credit reports, business bank & credit card statements, business financials, P&L, Balance Sheets, Tax Returns, and other related financial information
• Make phone calls to Merchant/prospect trade references, and conduct preliminary Merchant interview
• Work closely with the Senior Management and Senior Underwriting team
• Interact with internal sales force and external

CFG Merchant Solutions is looking for motivated sales representatives who are self-starters and have strong work ethics to work with a rapidly expanding national specialty finance company.

You will be working with multiple in-house underwriters to market, sell and fund cash advance transactions. There is the ability for significant upside, and we offer competitive compensation packages.

Required qualifications are:
 Someone who is: self-motivated, ambitious, hardworking and disciplined
 Excellent communication skills
 Ability to connect with business owners in order to educate them on our product types as a solution to their business’ everyday working capital needs

Preference will be given to those who have:
 Sales experience
 Experience within the Merchant Cash Advance industry
 Relevant financial services or commercial finance industry experience
