I tried to sell some notes on folio this evening.  I selected my first note, entered the discount, told it to sell, and this error message pops up:

One of your notes cannot be sold.  Note ID: 54785846.

First thing I notice is that the number it shows, which I have typed above just as it appeared, is not the note I was trying to sell.  I checked and its not even a note I own.  Curious.

I tried again with a different note.  Same message, containing same bogus note ID.

Tried to sell a 3rd note.  Same.

I checked the accounts page, and I have no notes for sale, so the error message is blocking the sale.

Have any of you ever had this problem?

I sent mail to LC.  I figure its a bug, and that message is really trying to tell me something different, but I can't imagine what.

Payment processing?  Note entering into Default?

I've had the icon that blocks the check box, when the note is still in payment processing and in grace period, but not that.

I received a reply today that is similar to your answer from LC.  I asked them about the note I don't have that I reported on PeerCube a few days ago, which Anil answered.
LC said they feel my issue is related to the known Folio bug on which they are working.

They removed the bogus note ID from the message.  Now it says "There has been an error."

I've given them examples of several notes that can be posted for sale via API ok, but which produce this error message when posted manually via the folio web site.  I'm calling this a web site bug.  Once one of these notes is posted via the API, it can't be repriced via the web site either.  The web site simply dislikes certain notes.

LC says they're debugging.
