Author Topic: Hit 20k of managed notes with LR and now Active Rebalancing

I just hit 20k total of notes with LR and Im now being active rebalanced.

I logged into my LendingClub account and noticed that about 90% of my notes are now for sale, almost all at a markup.

Its interesting to see this, I figured Id have maybe a few dozen for sale, but it looks like LR strategy is to list all notes with a 2-5% markup to increase returns.

I like the concept, this could work out well, but it will be interesting to see how well it works.

With a little more than 3 weeks since your post, can you provide an update as to what you are seeing? I've been a little hesitant to try this. LR has stated that they'll provide preliminary results after 6 months.

I'll be very interested too.
During my 2 month long sojourn into Folio selling (current notes only) I found the buyers to be picky / even savvy.
If there is an abundance of stupid buyers out there I was unable to target them. My bad I guess.
But, it costs nothing to list notes so give it a try. P.T. Barnum said ..... (fill in the blanks).

Where do you find the option to do "Active Rebalancing"?

It's been a month since your original post, can you comment on your experience so far with Active Rebalancing?
You described that most of your porfolio was up for sale on Folio ... how many notes have actually sold?  For those that sold, can you describe the markup?
