I don't use words like "choice loans", because which loans are actually the best to invest in is a complex subject, with widely differing opinions. However, there are loans that more people want than others, and those do go quickly.
Last year I produced this data. I just polled the API once a second and recorded the numbers. (Note: You can try to poll once per second, but sometimes, especially right at feeding time, LC takes longer than 1 second to respond, so the data points aren't exactly spaced 1 second apart. The horizontal axis is the actual timestamp of the response.

I haven't rerun this recently. I think you can see the general situation. Look at the grey curve. Significant activity in the first 15 seconds.
The format of the numbers on the horizontal axis are mm:ss.s, where mm is minutes and ss is seconds.
