LC was probably doing some kind of test to see the impact of late updates on API and auto-invest 3rd party sites.

This can be good and bad.

Good if people (and systems) will start spreading their activities throughout the day.

Bad if the systems will press continuously, rather than just 4 times a day.

Interesting. It was a glitch I think. My site looks for new loans between 10:01 and 10:06. 99% of the time it's in those bounds.

My tongue-in-cheek theory, since I noticed zero loans available three times in the past two days just before new ones posted, is that they were waiting for the old batch to clear out before releasing the new batch.  Seems like a smart thing to do to me, but probably not what happened!
