Investors - LC / Dear LC
November 26, 2017, 11:00:00 PM
Like storm, I have seen my interest received offset by losses. Since inception, I have lost 70% of the interest received to defaults. I was using auto invest but no longer; as I accumulate cash balance, I withdraw it. I understand I should expect some losses but this is a little much for me.

I think LC does not do enough to collect from those who default. Most of mine were not very far into their payments when they defaulted.

I have had a number of bad months. I invested understanding that there were going to be defaults. But I also invested looking at the percentage of defaults I could expect. The current default rate is well over that and looks to get worse.

I have stopped investing and I'm slowly withdrawing my money. I wonder if borrowers look at Lending Club as an easy mark.

I have 5 notes that have been charged off. 3 of those have the message "Account was sold to a third party debt buyer" in the collection log. But I have never seen any funds credited my account for these sales. Should I expect any of these proceeds? How long does it take?

Investors - LC / Automated Investing Issues
March 05, 2017, 11:00:00 PM
I recently suspended automated investing on my account. I was experiencing heavy losses and I changed my allocation to remove the higher risk loans. Some investments were made after that but investments in less risky loans was still below the target and investments in higher risk loans was over the target. I contacted support and was told to just invest more so it would "rebalance".

Is anyone else suspicious that automated investing is not working correctly?
