General P2P Lending Discussion /

Patrick, I believe someone asked the question earlier, but I didn't see a response. Have you considered taking a loan out at Lendingclub itself?

Investors - LC / Spike in IGP this month?
January 13, 2017, 11:00:00 PM
Yep, I'm feeling the spike in new nonpayments, which for me happened in late December. Now that those are hitting the Late (16-30) mark right now, the percentage of notes in that category have jumped from about .5% to nearly 1%. Its been painful to watch.

Investors - LC / Deadbeats
January 11, 2017, 11:00:00 PM
These rare, but increasing, deadbeat loans with 0 repayment will quickly devastate any positive returns on a portfolio. I've noticed a spike in them in my 2016 originations, and they are a significant reason why the returns for the year were lackluster.

Without explicitly admitting this was a problem, both LC & P have talked about new measures to tighten standards (and even share some information re: new loan applications) in order to stem the rise of these instances of, well, fraud.

Now, when I start ryansp2ploans.com, it will be just like LC, but just before Charge Off occurs, I will release the name/address/info of the borrower to the investors so that they can do their best to recover any remaining loan. Who's in??!?!! https://forum.lendacademy.com/Smileys/default/wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" class="smiley" />

Foliofn - LC / Best Tool for FOLIO Selling
December 04, 2016, 11:00:00 PM
LendingRobot has the service to sell notes on the secondary market without charge. They also have a feature that will start your asking prices high, and slowly roll them down as time passes until your notes get sold.

I have been using them for 2+ years for traditional investing/reinvesting, and like their service quite a bit.

Suggestions / lendacademy web server problems
November 10, 2016, 11:00:00 PM
The ttl should actually act as the expiration timer by resolvers (when they are configured to honor it), and that appears to be set to 10 minutes. The expiry field is used by the slave servers.

Moot point, I guess since the IP isn't changing.

LendingRobot does have a "Minimum cash balance to leave on account" feature in which you set to a specific dollar amount of your choice. LR will keep this as cash in your account, allowing you to use those funds to manually invest in notes of your choice.

Might be the closest way to segmenting a single account as you are looking to do.

Investors - LC / Lending Club Site is Down
June 07, 2016, 11:00:00 PM
Hmmmm.... Their site-down message has gone from "System Upgrade" to Data center outage".

Pull your stuff together LC. This is all starting to look like a real shit-show.

Investors - LC / Email from Lending Club

I've stood by LC throughout this whole ordeal, and kept reinvesting all payouts.

I'll be pretty disappointed if I don't receive the offer. Not a good way to reward the ones that supported LC through the past few weeks.
