BlueVestment / Testing Filter in Bluevestment
April 23, 2017, 11:00:00 PM
I am new to Bluevestment.  I am setting up a filter combining BV Aggressive model and my own criteria. Could BV display how many loans passed this filter in certain past period, such as past half year?  That will be very helpful for tuning the filter to allow just enough loans passed according to cash amount to be invested in a month.

I am selling about 1/4 of all notes in Folio to deleverage my LC account.

Update: sold a bunch today and lost close to $300+fee. This month will likely have negative return https://forum.lendacademy.com/Smileys/default/sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" class="smiley" />  Bye bye notes. But I will come back! https://forum.lendacademy.com/Smileys/default/angry.gif" alt=">:(" title="Angry" class="smiley" />

Comments on lascott's example: the numbers between during a year are net withdrawals and deposits. In the setup of this example, withdrawals are negative and deposits are positive. By the way,

Investors - LC / Credit Card / Debt Consolidation

I am updating my filters after having not touched it for 2 years. In the three filters I backtested in NSR platform on loans issued from 3/2014 to 3/2015, comparing ROI of CC to ROI of Debt Cons, it's +0.7% for Grade C, 0.03% for Grade D, -1.19% for Grade E.

Off Topic / Share a recipe - Bake Sweet Yam
March 01, 2016, 11:00:00 PM
If you like sweet yam and want to know an easy way to bake it, here it is. It's my daughters' favorite. My own recipe, not sure if there is similar one on the Internet.

1. Wash and dry Sweet Yam (no white yam), mid size. Use 3 yams as example.
2. Place them on a plate and heat them in microwave for 7 minutes, full power. Some portion of them should become soft and easy to press down a little.
3. In the meanwhile, Place a pan covered with Foil in the oven and preheat to 400 degree F.
4. Move Yams to the oven after they have been pre-heated in microwave. Heat them in oven for about 35-40 minutes, or 10+ minutes after it's seen that juice drip out of the Yams. (Heat a little longer would make them sweeter by making them dryer)
5. Serve them after they become warm. Or bake it at night and use as breakfast.

Note, temperature and time may be adjusted according to your own preference.  I usually use a small electric oven to bake 3 yams.
