BlueVestment / BlueVestment Offering Free Auto-Invest
January 08, 2014, 11:00:00 PM
I used this a couple of months ago just for a couple of weeks and thought it worked pretty well. Even has auto-invest for late loans, which also worked good. But at the time it was still fee based and I was able to get an Interest Radar account for $20, so I went that route. I like the features of IR, but its disappointing that it doesn't seem to be taken care of anymore. Might be looking into BlueVestment again.

Investors - LC / Investing In Your Own Note
December 28, 2013, 11:00:00 PM
I recently took out a LC loan at 7.9%. It was fully funded by 1 investor in the middle of the night before it was even listed on LC. But had it been listed, I would not want to invest in a loan at 7.9% interest. I'd rather go for the higher interest rates using my filters with an expected 12-14% return (which is what I currently do).

Question on pricing...

"Only 0.49% of orders submitted. No setup fees, no monthly minimum."

So I get charged for the cost of the orders submitted, not just the notes that get issued? That could mean that if I deposit $450 a month into my Roth IRA that I end up getting charged based on an investment of $800 because of all of the loans that are cancelled or denied before they are issued and I get the money back to re-invest.

Other than that, I'm interested to check this out.

Investors - LC / 0 APR Convenience Check
November 12, 2013, 11:00:00 PM
I've only done this to invest in Lending Club once and it was US Bank. It was a higher fee of 4%. We used a 0% APR check from my wife's Chase MasterCard for a business investment and that is a 2% fee. In the future, I may continue to write myself a check for investments, but it will be using the Chase MC for the lower fee. But then again, I'm still earning a good amount over US Banks 4% fee, so maybe I'll use them both. US Bank had a longer term of 15 months. Chase was 1 year.

Investors - LC / Folio and IRAs
October 14, 2013, 11:00:00 PM
I have a Roth IRA for myself and a Roth IRA for my wife. I've been able to sell notes on Folio with both of them. I just opened my account in August and my wife's in September.
