I swung by here to see if I had really read that email correctly.

The email reads like they are "only" retiring the Notes platform.  But ummm... what the heck is left of LendingClub without the notes platform?  Am I missing something? Perhaps they are just trying to put lipstick on a pig.  Which is fine with me, as long as one's porcine recreational activities stop there.

As an existing Radius Bank customer, having another account isn't all that $exciting.  But they are good for various schemes.

The link to change your forum settings has also disappeared, although you can still get to it in a roundabout way.  I guess Peter had to make room for those links to the main blog where all the marketing/money is.

Investors - LC / Lending Club Cost Basis
February 03, 2015, 11:00:00 PM
This new development is complete BS.  What, did tax laws change this year?  Or did LendingClub SCREW UP previous years?

Prosper reported basis for TY2013.  And possibly earlier.  As much as I'd like to see things stay the way they were at LC, I'd get much more enjoyment from seeing LC get called out for their previous methods.  What, is this just going to be another case of "that was the past, just sweep it under the rug" like the IRA deal??

LC could have freaking warned us that this was coming.  You know, during the year when quarterly estimated tax payments were being made and more importantly when certain investment decisions were being made?

Yay, another dump on somebody thread.  I like these!  Though such a "such a needless expenditure of negative energy", avid.  (Sound familiar? )

I can tolerate a site which is ugly and difficult to use as long as it works.  But yesterday as we all found out the hard way, it does not.  I know several people who lost $600+ because Fidelity's site wasn't accepting their orders.  That is not acceptable.  This isn't Fidelity's first rodeo so you can't blame it on an IPO... How is it that the site was allowed to continue operating like this for God knows how long?

I was just putting in my accounting for yesterday's trade and couldn't get the numbers to balance at first.  I see I was charged $0.13 in "Fees" on top of the commission.  Likely regulatory fees.  I expect this from someone like InteractiveBrokers where the commissions are so low they have to pass on such things directly to customers.  But Fidelity?  That I found a little surprising.  Just an FYI.

Unfortunately I don't see Stephanie in that photo.  The guy in the back looks like he got into the sauce a bit early this morning.

250sh here now as well.  Wow if I had a dollar for every person that said there was no way we'd get less than 350 because the shares were "reserved"...  "My rep tol' me so!"  https://forum.lendacademy.com/Smileys/default/smiley.gif" alt=":)" title="Smiley" class="smiley" />

We should start finding out how many shares we have been allocated (if any) in about 15 minutes perhaps?  Oh the suspense.

To kill the time I'm going through Fidelity's site getting familiar with their order entry system.  Trailing stops are right there on the main order ticket which was a pleasant surprise.   If anyone's looking for conditional triggers and OCO orders those aren't on the main order entry screen.  You have to go to to the left navbar under 'Act' and select the 'Trade Conditional' link.  That one had me stumped for a few minutes because I wasn't expecting it to be in a whole different place.  Very barebones site but it'll do fine I think.
