Investors - LC / Back Testing Traded Notes

Have considered loading your traded notes and "the info I need to do a vlookup from LC's website" into DB tables, and then do SQL joins to your heart's content?

Investors - LC / Are LC Grades Completely Random?
August 24, 2016, 11:00:00 PM
It is not "completely" random, although I did see some interesting grade assignments before.

LC has an initial scoring model which provides the application with a score, which when combined with the applicant's FICO score and certain other credit attributes arrives at a Model Rank. The Model Rank is based upon an internally developed algorithm which analyzes the performance of borrower members and takes into account FICO score, credit attributes, and other application data. The Model Rank is between 1 and 25 and corresponds to a Base Risk Sub-Grade.

Investors - LC /

This link shows 4 reasons:
http://kb.lendingclub.com/foliofn/articles/FolioFn/Why-did-a-trade-or-listing-cancel/" class="bbc_link" target="_blank">http://kb.lendingclub.com/foliofn/articles/FolioFn/Why-did-a-trade-or-listing-cancel/

Why did a trade or listing cancel?

A trade or listing may be cancelled for the following reasons:
- Lending Club is processing a payment that was received on the loan corresponding to the listed Note.
- Lending Club received a special payment from a Borrower and Lending Club is in the process of distributing that payment to investors.
- The loan corresponding to the listed Note moved into a Default or Charge Off status.
- A bankruptcy filing related to the loan corresponding to the listed Note is pending.

I actually expected this to happen after LR departure.

On one hand, a lot of people in this forum worried about BRV, the loss of institutional money, and investors' fire sale on Folio.

On the other hand, I have been worried about borrowers that might have funny ideas to not making payments anymore.

SAM CONSULTANT LLC, based on your LendAcademy profile http://www.lendacademy.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=7633" class="bbc_link" target="_blank">http://www.lendacademy.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=7633, you already "sustained more than $500 billion of investment in over 660 projects"

This is larger than LC, which originated only $20 billions so far.

What do we miss here?

My FOLIO portfolio has 100% late, because I bought late notes.  https://forum.lendacademy.com/Smileys/default/wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" class="smiley" />
