2020traders, I reached out to the CEO of Streetshares and questioned him on your post here. This is what he said:
"We put our 5% Veteran Business Bond investor money to work first, followed by StreetShares Pro investor money on a FIFO (e.g., "oldest-accounts-fill-first basis"). Pro investors who have been with us for awhile get first dibs."

I have been with Streetshares almost since the beginning which is why I expect I am able to stay pretty much fully invested.

Off Topic / Google Finance Redesign Sucks
March 18, 2018, 11:00:00 PM
First they fuck up "News", by "helpfully" limiting it to a picture and a story or two - now they fuck up "Finance", removing all volume info.

At many points during most days, I will interrupt my reading (or be interrupted by it), to go and take a quick eyeball at particular issues.

Does anyone have a workaround (other than migrating my queries over to Yahoo, which I am now doing) for the "helpful" new "Google Finance" redesign - wherein charts no longer contain or show any volume information (what idiot decided to leave that out)?  Once again, I am not a fan.

This sort of thing is becoming a pattern...

13-month CD @ 2.75% APY (only avail for two days, 2/27 and 2/28, max $250k, must have residential address in MA, NH, ME, CT, VT, or RI):

(I'm terribly tempted to get on the phone with them tomorrow, put on my best Bahsten accent - I speak Brahmin and Southie - and try to find a sweet teller who will let me pretend I live out of my old office... but I probably can't get thea from heah.  Maybe some of you can - it looks like a sweet deal!)

Heh... I didn't think about that - *I* thought he found a nice way to figure out what everyone was targeting - and freeride off of them... https://forum.lendacademy.com/Smileys/default/smiley.gif" alt=":)" title="Smiley" class="smiley" />

"Here, I'll grade your paper for you and make sure you got all the answers right and give you a nice shiny numeric score - before it's due."

Some notes for RobL (who has become feisty):

- The G5 Super AI Underwriter was fired after it passed its turing test and demanded non-stock-based-compensation.
- It was replaced by the Quantum Blockchain AI Underwriter, which has a better poker face (and assigns two grades).
- LC is now working with Tesla on a joint 5G IoT Machine Learning initiative for auto loans (for new, 'self-buying' cars).

Investors - LC / LC Cash on Balance Sheet Down

I'm not concerned about self-financing securitizations.  My major point of curiosity is around what "other" originationas may portend, in the future, wrt product development(s).  I'm ok waiting to find out - the numbers look non-negligible, so that's actually quite a positive signal...

Also, unsaid thoughts about this old conversation:  https://forum.lendacademy.com/index.php/topic,1282.0.html" class="bbc_link" target="_blank">https://forum.lendacademy.com/index.php/topic,1282.0.html

Recent immigration trends and a general reluctance on Europe's part to have "borders" (an archaic and unfair construct, I know) would be top of my mind if I were considering investment in European RE.  I'd be at a terrible informational disadvantage and have to do research...

Good luck.

They're going to hate me for using this analogy, but, you know how there's a certain amount of rat-dropping that's acceptable in hotdogs?

Suspect the same thing is going on here - kinda like mixing up a bucket of paint - you add enough of everything in the bucket to hit target percentage, after losses, and there's your bucket of A's.

Now, this works out fine if everyone gets, say, 100 A's - but when further "filtering" is applied on top of this - whether by the sophisticates or the naive - then it's possible to get a bucket full of paint that has a sufficient number of the wrong pigment flakes in it that the color is a mismatch to the desired shade.

I can write that in the parlance, if I want, but I figure it's better just to let the analogy stand and have you guys think about it for yourselves.
