".....but these people do not apparently comment/contribute here on the forum or on the main blog. He didn't say why."

It's a mystery.  I know it can't be because of any of us.

I don't find this fair to the community that you two took this to private messaging.
I would like my money back, please!

I gotta agree with Mo.
Besides DanB being accused of being a LC spy and drinking cheap Scotch, I'm not aware of any subterfuge.

Like Core said, though, you can blame him.  We do.

I just logged onto my Folio account and saw that the number of notes I had for sale had decreased.  Sales?  NOPE....CANCELATIONS!  Now we're not even safe on weekends!

My notes are dropping like flies!

"Yes this completely obliterated my amazingly lucrative strategy but that will not stop me from finding a new one."

I see this making a big mess for relisting.  How are we supposed to keep track of the "4 Business Days"?  If I have 22 notes cancel over 4 days, how am I supposed to remember which ones will qualify for relisting tomorrow?

Secondly, 4 days off the market?  That's a lot of time to have a note just sitting there doing nothing.

"there's a real good chance (over 95%) that she & I can talk shop"

Bwhahahaha!  Rlv99.....if she ends up $750 richer at the end of the day, don't say you weren't warned!

Great Motto!

"But what would you call it when a group of bakery owners gets together and decides to lie to their customers about day-old bread laws in order to get the customers to shell out more cash for higher priced bread?"

Maybe Bigfoot is making them do it.  I dunno!  Better call in DanB Cooper to set the record straight!

"The link doesn't work for you?  When I click on the link it brings up a box with Stephanie's direct phone number and extension."

Same here!  She even saw to it that I got a $50 account bonus just for calling in!

"But I'd like to take my loss, get my cash back and move on to more profitable trades."

Agreed!
I just house-cleaned the remainder of the notes I purchased from May thru August.  Not that they were bad, but they quit perfoming and were getting moldy.  If I can't sell a note within 60 days, then it's a note I don't want to hold anymore.

Regardless the status, I sold every note for 88-cents.  I took losses on every one.  At this moment, I'm still in negative numbers for the month, but quickly climbing out of the hole.  I should be back in the black come Monday.

What is important is that my house is now "clean".  Meaning,  nearly every note I have up for sale is fresh and listed at a profit.

Accrued interest for each note is now being shown on the "Loan Performance" page.  Look for it right below "Credit Score Change".

His normal payment is $637/month.
He's been paying $785/month since May 2012.

He's accelerated his payments and is going to have his loan paid off sooner.  This is what is skewing the numbers.   I'm going to guess he's not going to have a full payment due when his last payment comes around.  It will be a smaller amount.  I think at this point, the total principle due will change.    Otherwise, some sort of adjustment will be made right after he pays the loan off.  You'll have to wait and see.

Investors - LC / How much discount is typical

"New Jersey Guy may take it off your hands"

Nope, not me.  I always avoid notes with no payments regardless the price.  I've seen a rash of these notes lately.  Some even have the 'ol "Borrower promises to pay" log note, and I still won't buy them.

I always fear that "None-and-Out" scenerio.  When somebody can't even make their first payment or two?  That's scarey.

Investors - LC / Consensus question
September 18, 2013, 11:00:00 PM
I've got 3 different portfolios of Buy/Hold notes.

My returns are 15.25%, 15.91% and $14.36%

Considering the risk and the time I spend with LC each week, I'd be happy if the 3 portfolios averaged at least 13.5%

Those figures do not include my speculative notes.  I keep those in separate portfolios and I frankly don't care what interest they pay.
