Investors - LC / Balance Drop Without Activity
June 21, 2018, 11:00:00 PM
How can I have 11 cents less today than yesterday, with no activity entries (only FP and COff notes)?  Balance .59 yest., .48 today.
Will wait and see what happens next before I ask LC that.
Anybody else see that today?

Investors - LC / Credit for Ineligible Loan

Just looked.  Yes, I did!  Don't know if it has happened before.

I just checked mine.  The note number dropped by 2 from what it was on 6-1-18.  One left the Fully Paid category, and one left the Charged Off category.  Have no idea which notes those were.

"On a side but related note- I find it interesting that a lot of the automated tools seem to be dying off. Bluevestment has folded, InterestRadar isn't far behind, Lending Robot seems to be slowly divesting away, etc. I think Peercube is the only one left. (Keep it up Anil!)" --dr.everett, in reply to .Ryan. .

If I had the size portfolio I did from 2 years before, the loss of these tools would really raise my stress levels. Using the tools as I did to liquidate when I did, while time consuming, minimized my losses and my stress levels."

I agree 100+%!  The thought of losing PeerCube (Thank you, Anil!!) along with Folio, after already losing the P2P aspects, did me in.  "It ain't what it used to be" is the follow-up reminder to self that finally got me out.  One thing it used to be was fun.  I started in Oct., '08.

I would so not be surprised that I can't wait for Monday to see if my final 4 notes make it through "execution of sale order" on Monday!  This issue of being the only secondary market left is what made me escalate liquidation!

Investors - LC / Internal Server Errors
May 11, 2018, 11:00:00 PM
I haven't seen that one, but a couple of days ago on Folio the sale numbers I asked for were not the ones that showed up.  Couldn't make them right after several tries, so I finally signed out and back in.  Then it was back to normal.  Glad I happened to pay attention, and not sell at up to 77% loss instead of +.5%!

Today I went to -35% and sold a Grace with a perfect 47 payment record and a green arrow.  Started at -10, yesterday.

Short answer, previously stated:  if it isn't sold, drop the price.  Investors know what they're looking for.

I can't find my own notes for sale on Folio either.  Crazy system.

I've been trying to sell a current note with a perfect payment record. Its last completed payment date was 3-7-18.  It appears to be available to sell, but after entering the price and "submit" I get this: "One or more of your Notes cannot be sold. Note Id(s): 70825904, 73176492".  The actual note ID is 82606235.

I asked LC about it, but have not yet received a reply.  Weird.  The only reason that could apply is if there is a pending BK.  There are no comments under the payment history.

When the sell function works, dropping the price is the way I get notes sold.  They have to be priced to sell--not priced to keep.  I sold the worst notes first, and am letting the best live out their lives until something regresses.  I keep an eye on the monthly FICO trend chart via the sort function on the Folio SELL page for what to sell.

Haven't read OleBill's blog yet, but am looking forward to doing that!  Thanks!
Edit to add:  P.S.  On the 14th now, I am now able to list the note, although I did not yet get a reply from LC.
2nd Edit:  8 min. after listing for -2.56% it sold.

Investors - LC / Lending Club Portfolio Score
February 12, 2018, 11:00:00 PM
When using the 1-Click Investing feature from the subscription plan, aren't quite a few of the picks 100% funded by the time even by the fastest time one can click?  Also, would 1-click be for each loan, or for the whole batch of filtered loans?  I couldn't find any of those details on the subscription page, while on the trial period.

PeerCube / Recent PeerCube changes?
February 09, 2018, 11:00:00 PM
Has anybody else not been able to see current listings for about 3 days?  The availability chart shows a flat line since Thursday.  Hope things are ok there.

Investors - LC / tax question: "worthless security"?
February 08, 2018, 11:00:00 PM
I did it with TaxAct the way Storm says.  The cost basis of charged offs (Dec. 31, '17) and sales were added together, and all were counted as short term, on line 1a, Sched. D.   Line 8a (long term) stayed blank except for the prior carryover on Line 14 and 15.  The warning said that was happening, but I couldn't find anything to do about it so I gave up and filed anyway.

"The crowd seems to like this one even less:
C3,  14.08%  $0.00  https://www.lendingclub.com/browse/loanDetail.action?loan_id=127366829" class="bbc_link" target="_blank">https://www.lendingclub.com/browse/loanDetail.action?loan_id=127366829
There are zero investors at this time."

No kidding!  Now, at 9:00 p.m., it's listed as "invalid loan".  Wonder what that's code for?

Investors - LC / What is Your Minimum Acceptable Return
January 12, 2018, 11:00:00 PM
Absent the guaranteed return OF my money (per Anabio), I need 10% to compensate for the work and time involved plus not over 3K capital loss/yr.

My confidence in LC's underwriting hit a new bottom when all the loans started to come out as "approved", but didn't look any better to me.  Seems like all they had to do to get approved was fill out an application and have sufficient FICO.
