NoGoodDeed..........Actually you did bring them up,................again!

I just want to know what all you people are going to do one day when the lawsuit etc. is all finished & done with. Will this crusade be over then?
Are you people planning on telling some other company how to run their business &/or who should be CEO or on their board? Because if you are thinking in that direction, I could give you a few names of companies that have pissed me off in the past & you guys can sink your teeth into them. I'll be glad to help, just let me know.

There is a way..............Live in a million dollar house, ( at least 2 million if you live in CA, CT or NY), have at least 2 cars (one has to cost $100k or more). Then when you talk to your friends, which unless you already do all of the above, will be a completely different & somewhat wealthier group of people you currently associate with (no offense)...............exaggerate by at least 1000% how much money you have invested in p2p. Let it be known that you make 12-14% per annum, but say so in a nonchalant way. That is it. No more  crazy looks. They will either seek you out for more info. or look into it themselves.

People who have money (but not mega money) like to think that they do so because they are real smart,  savvy etc. & will not be able to handle for long the fact that you are getting  super returns & that they aren't. https://forum.lendacademy.com/Smileys/default/smiley.gif" alt=":)" title="Smiley" class="smiley" />

General Prosper Discussion / Just for Fun: Larry Bird?
January 12, 2013, 11:00:00 PM
Yes, there's as good of a chance of that being the actual Larry Bird as the guy who posts here as Berniemadeoff actually being Bernie Madoff

Roy S..............One would not be going far out on a limb to suggest that the next round of financing is all but secured & that the announcement of such may be imminent.

Investors - LC / Feedback on Lending Club Business

No offense, but 15% without a default from only 267 notes is good..................but hardly amazing. How old is the average note? What is the mix of 36 to 60 month notes?? 15% NAR or ROI?

If the answer to those 3 questions are appropriate then I'd be willing to use the word "amazing".................in another year, assuming at least another 200 notes that are at least that old in the portfolio.

Randawl............Actually, LC does NOT have a Bankruptcy Remote Vehicle in place for retail investors. Prosper just introduced theirs a week ago.

Dennis.............Thank you & I agree with you 100%. My "blaming my environment" for my  shortcomings & irresponsible behavior in my earlier days was completely in jest.................hence the  https://forum.lendacademy.com/Smileys/default/smiley.gif" alt=":)" title="Smiley" class="smiley" />
In fact I don't ever lean on that or any other crutch/excuse. Nor do I respect, accept, condone, tolerate, encourage anyone who does.

Is it my imagination or does the cat look a bit embarrassed to be in that photo? https://forum.lendacademy.com/Smileys/default/grin.gif" alt=";D" title="Grin" class="smiley" />

LC bk remote vehicle is set up through its wholly owned subsidiary LC Advisors which is the entity that is used only by its institutional investors to invest. Peter did a short piece on this sometime back.

Faeriering..............Slightly off topic, but I've always thought it an interesting social comment that cops in this country, who as a whole received such a bump in their social/moral standing during & after 9/11...............never suffered even a tiny hit to that same standing a few years later after something like 1 in 5 walked off their jobs during Katrina. Goes to show how easily the populace can be manipulated.

No, LC does not, but they should be reminded, badgered, hassled etc............ by all of us until they do.

I normally screen out public records anyway, but I just looked at total loans available a few minutes ago & it stood at 1093. If you screen out only those with public records you're left with 591. I don't have anything to compare this with the average historically, but yes, 46% of all loans available having a public record seems dramatically elevated right now. Though I wouldn't want to suggest any reasons or draw any conclusions just yet.
