NSR Invest / NSR buying criteria
November 07, 2016, 11:00:00 PM
I just recently turned my portfolio over to the folks at NSR.

1. Do they always invest in $25 increments? So far every note they've invested for me (18 of them) had been of $25. I'm worried as my portfolio grows, at some point they can't invest it faster than it's coming in, they have to increase the invested amounts right?

2. Do they ever buy notes off folio for you? They will help you sell them, seems like they they would have criteria for buying notes of folio as well. Just wondering.

I agree with pretty much everything fliphusker said in his first post, I have a very similar strategy. Looking for these seasoned notes with solid payment history and steady FICO. I like 60 month loans that have been paying for over a year. My strategy yields me a 10% ~ 12% ANAR

I haven't invested in an original loan on the LC platform for several months now.

One quick mention about why notes are priced so inconsistently on folio. I think a contributing factor (that I've never seen mentioned) is that that people go to folio to liquidate their LC accounts. These people are often driven by emotion or they need the money. I really believe that many of the notes on folio are being sold despite being good solid investments.

Investors - LC / Pending for 12 business days?
July 25, 2016, 11:00:00 PM
Anyone ever seen anything like this before? Still says pending after 12 business days. The note has never been late and there is nothing in the collection log indicating that a LC rep has contacted them.
