As I understand it, a Delinquency is 30 or more days late and I don't count one in the last two years against the borrower. By contrast a major derogatory is more than 120 days late and I don't buy notes with any.

Look at this loan. It lists "Individual Gross Income" and "Joint Gross Income" together with "Joint Debt to Income".

Well its been nearly a year and there are still states that restrict access to LC. I think that confirms there was nothing in law that guaranteed the public offering would allow that. Frankly, I am not in a hurry. I think a large part of the liquidity provided on Folio is provided by those excluded.

Interest Radar /
October 04, 2015, 11:00:00 PM
When looking at the IR01 chart (https://www.interestradar.com/scores" class="bbc_link" target="_blank">https://www.interestradar.com/scores) it say "The resulting number will be in the range from 330 (higher risk of default) to 409 (lower risk of default)". And discussion in a number of threads seem consistent with this statement. However when you lock at the loss rates for each grade and IR01 score, the AVG Loss's in the table appear to trend upwards with increasing IR01 scores. What am I not getting?

Investors - LC / Whats wrong with this loan?
October 02, 2015, 11:00:00 PM
Can anyone tell me what is wrong with this loan?

https://www.lendingclub.com/browse/loanDetail.action?loan_id=61510623&previous=browse" class="bbc_link" target="_blank">https://www.lendingclub.com/browse/loanDetail.action?loan_id=61510623&previous=browse

This scores very high in my scoring system and hard to believe just the FL address keeps it from funding.

I have a huge problem with Payments to date: mine is totally nonsensical. I think it has something to do with Folio trades but can't find any calculation on the extended note CSV and traded notes CSV that even gets close? Here is a guess:

The "payments to date" is the sum of payments made on all loans I hold and not "payment made to me". So depending on when I purchased it I am seeing payments made to the previous owner (on folio purchased notes) added to "my payments to date".

Investors - LC / Loss assumptions

Thanks everyone. Good discussion. The loss data in LCs 10K/10Q is more than I hoped for. Its been some time since I looked at them and I forgot that data was there. My thanks to Fred.

Follow Fred's link and you'll find the same data for each grade of loan.

Investors - LC / Loan number
January 29, 2015, 11:00:00 PM
I have asked this question before which went unanswered. Does anyone have any idea how a new loan can get assigned a 6 digit loan number like this one offered today:

https://www.lendingclub.com/browse/loanDetail.action?loan_id=707689&previous=browse" class="bbc_link" target="_blank">https://www.lendingclub.com/browse/loanDetail.action?loan_id=707689&previous=browse

Of 350,000 loans issued since 2 have 5 digit numbers and 261 have 6 digit loan numbers. The borrower number 900066 has not had an earlier loan. But if you look at loans issued to members with nearby member numbers those loans were all 6 digit loan numbers from early 2011. My guess then is these are loans applied for and rejected in the distant past.  Is this good or bad?

The rejected loan file is useless because it does not contain member numbers.
