By the way, according to http://taxes.about.com/od/Federal-Income-Taxes/qt/tax-deadlines.htm" class="bbc_link" target="_blank">this page, 1099-Bs do not need to be sent out to us by institutions until February 15th, though most other 1099s and W-2s are of course due January 31st.

Investors - P / Prosper tax forms

They are required by the IRS to get them out by January 31st, so I expect they'll be out around the end of the day.

Investors - P / Increase in late loans

I noticed a huge increase in late loans as well. Nearly 10% of my loans are now over 31 days past due! A couple months ago there were none.

Investors - P / Waiting for statements...
January 25, 2013, 11:00:00 PM
Does anyone know why it takes so long for Prosper to generate year-end statements? My December statement was available a couple weeks ago, and of course all other prior statements are available, and the year-end statement should just be a summation of all of those... right? So where's my statement? Lending Club was able to generate their year-end statement quickly after the December statement.

There's also the question of why it takes so long for the monthly statements to be generated. This is an entirely computerized system, as far as I know, so shouldn't it be able to generate our monthly statements at midnight on the 1st of every month? Why does it take two weeks (sometimes more) for them to do this?
