BlueVestment / Bluevestment Down Again
February 24, 2018, 11:00:00 PM
Hi, everyone. The LC API had a recent change that has broken the Bluevestment investing engine. Once we have a resolution, we'll let everyone know. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Investors - LC / Best way to measure true return?

Post all of your notes at once with a 5% premium. Return in 24 hours and select 'Reprice' from the My Accounts tab on Folio. Drop the mark-up by 2.5%. Repeat every 24 hours. Untill there's no open orders (about 7 days). Repeat entire process but start your mark-up lower.

This way you won't leave much money on the table and it only takes a few clicks per day.

Foliofn - LC / Secondary Market Inventory LOW
July 21, 2017, 11:00:00 PM
The inventory of available loans is about 1/2 of normal.  Could this be due to LendingRobot being down? It's a bit scary if their customers are 1/2 of the market.

Well, kids, I'm hoping some of you kind souls just scored 80-90% discounts on Never Late, Current loans with FICOs between 630 & 659.  I made a bone-headed error in a selling formula... these should have been listed at around a 10% discount. The transactions have not cleared yet so maybe a few will get canceled due to payments but the carnage is very real.

If you were lucky enough to be on the receiving end of this unintended bargain and would like to help fund my therapeutic Scotch habit, you can assuage your guilt by making a donation to my paypal account: [email protected]

Thanks for reading and always double-check you selling formulas!

So FICO scores are updated for March and are now accurately reflected in Folio.  The only problem is that they are not updated in the "Download All - Extended" file that many of us use for Folio selling... be careful out there.

BlueVestment / BlueVestment stuck?
March 12, 2017, 11:00:00 PM
Sorry you're having issues with BV.  You may want to check BV to make sure all the settings are configured for auto-investing.  Once you log into BV, click the Configure tab on the left. Below that, you'll see Linked Accounts and Account Settings.  Check both of those pages to ensure the account in question is active and auto-investing is enabled.

If this still doesn't work, send me an email with the specifics at [email protected]

BlueVestment / Overlapping between accounts?
March 02, 2017, 11:00:00 PM
BV does not try to avoid overlapping loans across multiple accounts.  You can, however, control this with your filters. BP Moderate & Aggressive are mutually exclusive so you can use that or you can use grade/term to keep overlap to a minimum.  I would also suggest you keep you note size small enough that doubling-up on the same note won't cause you heartburn.

Every time I see this, I say, "I should really send in my results."  As we close out a truly sh*tty year for returns, here's my latest:

Your Notes purchased on the Lending Club platform
Adjusted Net Annualized Return3 ?:   10.60%
Weighted Average Interest Rate:   20.98%
Weighted Average Age of Portfolio:   20.5 mos
Number of Notes:   1,490

My combined ANAR w/ trading is reported at 10.71%

XIRR = 10.3%

60 month:95% - 36 month: 5%

A - 0
B - 0
C - 0.1%
D - 24.7%
E - 46.9%
F - 24.3%
G - 4.0%

Purchased vs Originated: 52% / 48%
One more tidbit... my trailing 12 month return is 3%
