Investors - LC / LC Share Allocation
December 10, 2014, 11:00:00 PM
I missed the LC Investor allocation and as a Fidelity customer went through their IPO allocation.  I didn't get any shares...   https://forum.lendacademy.com/Smileys/default/cry.gif" alt=":'(" title="Cry" class="smiley" />

Anesthesiologist in an academic practice.  In an MBA program for fun on the side.

Words are worth as much as the electron used to display them on your screen.  The other stuff  --purpose, inquiries, income, DTI ratio --are evidence of someone's lifelong behavior and are more likely to relate to someone's future behavior.

This is why I wish I could price my notes as an absolute % markup... It would only need to be posted once and then, as interest accrued or payments made, the price would be adjusted accordingly.

Investors - LC / Borrowers with >$20,000/month Income

Nope. If its an error I want the correct number before investing.  If it's not an error, something is seriously wrong with the borrower as most banks will give an unsecured line of credit at 6% or less for people with higher incomes such as this.

I called LC Investor Services yesterday to ask for clarification about some of the information I've seen on one of my notes which went bad after the 1st payment.  One of the questions I asked was "what happens if this 60 month note goes into a payment plan?  If it is put into a payment plan, does that mean payments will be made after 60 months and I won't receive them per the prospectus?"

I was told that 60 month loans will never be extended and one function for a payment plan in this scenario is to divide the missed payments into the remainder of the loan making future payments slightly higher.  Assuming the payment plan is carried through the investor won't lose out on any payment.

I've wondered the same thing... because of the apparent drought of "high quality" D-E-F-G grade notes that I invest in, I played around with the option of letting LC build a portfolio.  My usual filter builds a ROI in the mid 13% range based on 1+ yea old historical data.  The LC build gave me an estimated ROI in the 14+% range and included three groups that I don't put money in: people with multiple inquiries, green energy and business loans.  I wonder what LC sees that I don't?
