Where is the folio aka sell notes button?

How can I send notes from 1 portfolio as I have charge offs to the other finish loan portfolio I have?

What lunatic created this site and why oh why is anyone adding new money into this space? Lending club returns suck and prosper makes it impossible to cash out a lump sum pending the website running into legal issues or you have a medical emergency, never mind the fact that that at even 10% discounts for never late loans im still selling my portoflio nearly 1 year later.

Im still selling months later between 5 and 15% and still have about 5% of my notes left to go. Any late loans I instantly mark at a 75% discount and they still dont go.

All of this makes me realize how much time I wasted with private lending. The returns were bad compared to the general market and if the market tanks, loan defaults would go up even more as people get demolished. And couple that with the fact that it takes forever to liquidate an account... imagine handling an estate where someone has 50k or more loans?

Cant wait for this last 5% to go, unfortunately I cant say the same for my prosper account where I have to wait years to get my money out. Oh to be young and dumb.

I experienced the same thing.

I also have been selling my notes for over 1 year, a huge amount never late, and even at 3-6% discounts they dont sell.

Private lending is dead via these sites. The returns make it pointless to invest. The volatility is not for everyone, but I moved as much as possible last august into crypto and have made quite literally 50x the profit I did from p2p lending that I did for 3 years.

p2p lending, such as ethlend, makes beautiful sense on a decentralized platform where individual lenders set terms and collateral is put up. I beg anyone still into private lending give crypto a real look because lending club and propser are a joke.

Investors - LC / Worst Month Yet

Invested in LC and Prosper since early 2016... decided to take 1/20th of what I invested in p2p lending and put it in crypto in september. I have now made literally 100x the net profit in 3 months than I have in 2 years in p2p lending.

and its impossible to sell down the portfolio in any reasonable time frame.

im out.

its incredibly difficult to sell, which is partly why im out of lending for good. imagine needing a large sum of money in the future and being unable to get it without a disgusting discount? even 5% discount on notes with 20 payments left, never late, gets no bites.

For those investing new money or reinvesting old... why Prosper? For me its terrifying to think in the future I may need a large sum of money or bad news is trickling in about the company and all anyone can do is throw up their hands and say "oh well." The lack of secondary market turned me off immediately, so just want to hear thoughts as to why others continue to invest using this platform thinking 5-10-20+ years down the road.
