250 as well.  The current value shows $1750.  What does that mean?

In the email, it states "Payment for shares must be made by check or wire."  Could I transfer money among accounts or do ACH from bank?

Investors - LC / Is it really worth .25?
February 04, 2014, 11:00:00 PM

I had never thought of it until reading through this thread. I have an Interest Radar subscription and have never used the auto sell. I set it up in a few minutes and it now lists all of my notes for sale at a good markup. So after the initial setup, there is no extra work. Already sold one note for an 8% markup.

Same here.  Yesterday, I used IR to put all my notes for sale.  It only took a couple of minutes to set up (I use simple rules).  I've sold 15 notes so far.  I may have to adjust my markup percentage (I'm using 4% for down, 5% for flat and 6% for up).  Most notes that I sold are UP ones.

Investors - LC / 0 APR Convenience Check
November 13, 2013, 11:00:00 PM
I got 0% convenience check from chase, barclay, discover and BOA, but none of them is with no balance transfer fee.  The lowest I got is usually 2%.

This new change also means that we will no longer get cancelled orders due to payment.

Investors - LC / View Late Notes Now Current
October 22, 2013, 11:00:00 PM
Similar to Fly.  I keep a "trouble" portfolio.  All IGP/late notes go there.  They stay there even they become current.  I put all of them on Folio for sale with different discount value.

I had a couple of notes just like that.  It had perfect payment and high FICO, but suddenly the borrower filed bankruptcy.  When I look back, I would buy the notes again.  There is no red-flag at all.  Now I pay attention to "Borrower contacted Lending Club".  If it doesn't come with "borrower promised to pay", it is a dangerous sign.  I would sell it immediately.

I agree with Zach.  Flipping house is a job, not an investment.

Got it. Thanks.

In my case, I bought this note (current) with up-trend FICO and good income at a discount (7%).  I didnt pay attention to collection logs (borrower contacted LC).  Within a month, the borrower provided Bankruptcy counsel information.  I was not able to sell the note.  I also buy distressed notes from time to time.  Some of them may be charged off eventually.  It is just part of the game.
