Title: Help Edit my Book
Post by: WMcDonald on December 18, 2016, 11:00:00 PM
I am in the process of writing a book on the investment opportunities across the world of alternative finance. Specifically, I am honing in on how individuals can look to invest away from the stock market. Broadly I am covering P2P lending, equity crowdfunding, and real estate crowdfunding.

As I am pulling together content for my P2P section I was wondering if anyone has any advice on specific content to highlight as an introduction to the space for investors? If you have interesting success stories on investing through P2P or any of the other types or have a view on how you think the space is going to reshape the investment landscape, I would love to hear your thoughts and get your voice in the book.

Looking forward to connecting.

There are a ton of people who could help you thru this website. I would definitely reach out to Peter or Ryan to help narrow your focus. I would also visit sites like:

www.biggerpockets.com & www.crowddd.com for real estate

www.investorjunkie.com & www.lendingmemo.com for reviews and feedback on crowdfunding sites

http://forum.lendacademy.com/index.php ---this index provides a plethora of sites which can help you with analysis.

Good Luck

Check out http://www.p2p-banking.com to get an overview of the topic.

This is not an invitation to use my content in your book. Should be obvious - but you never know on the internet.

People only love hearing the negative, not the good.  Any daily rag hammers that home.  I mean, look at the shoddy authors at Seeking Alpha.  Some have been saying the sky is falling for 7+ months now, and any minute now, it will happen.
Or ya could be the optimist and go with the 99% success rate of LC note investors.  You have to decide how you want your "slant" to go first and foremost.
