Post by: Jmar42 on April 15, 2014, 11:00:00 PM
Are there any docs on the Folio API?

There is no Folio API*.  It would be logical to assume that there are also no docs for that which does not exist.

* Those of you (vast minority) who think that a web site which e.g. utilizes javascript to handle pagination is some kind of "public API", well you'll just have to go sit in the corner until you can behave properly.  By that logic almost every freaking web site on the planet offers an "API".  And no, they don't.

Thanks Fred,  I'll look at it once my account gets approved.  They take quite a bit of time to approve accounts I guess.

Jmar - you should give LC a call or email. Your folio account should have been approved right away. If it was prosper than that is normal.

Hopefully you answered all their questions with what they wanted you to say. The Truth is not a concern in the finance industry.  ::)

You need to change the filter criteria first (e.g., uncheck the "Never Late" check box, check other statuses).  The download file is based on the filters.

Also, just noticed that now there is a link to "Download Full Inventory" at the bottom of Browse Notes page.

Why does the site show 6-7k of loans on the web but in the spreadsheet have 100k of notes?  Do they only show current notes on the site vs non-current/current on download??

Yes docs exist for api calls for Nfolio notes.
See https://www.lendingclub.com/foliofn/folioInvestingAPIDocument.action

Also I have most of script to Buy notes from the secondary market, but something is missing, and it errors out on the script:
