I'm currently in the process of getting a prosper loan funded & this experience has made me extremely interested in the mindset of investors. I've watched videos + read articles about P2P investment strategies & what parameters investors typically like to set when searching for investment opportunities on both Prosper & LC but wanted to see if anyone here would be willing to provide some personal insight.
As I search thru the loans listed on Prosper I see many similar style loans being funded at different speeds. When comparing the borrowers profile some are vastly different which makes sense why the funding speed & overall interest would vary. On the flip side, when comparing nearly identical profiles, loan amount & terms the level of interest in funding seems to vary widely and I'm just curious, from the viewpoint of investors, why this may be?
