Prosper Beta View

What do people think about the new Beta View?

I've been trying to find a way to get to saved filters from the beta view. As far as I can tell, it can't be done. You can click on "Browse Loans" and then "Advanced / Saved Filters but no saved filters are shown there.  My conspiracy detector says maybe this Prosper's way of getting rid of saved filters and those annoying retail investors that like them.

Another dumb thing:  the Account Overview screen has a little bar chart of your notes by grade, but if you have an IRA account, instead of the bar chart you get a bright orange box that says "Add some cash to start investing".  Never mind that you have mucho uninvested cash and hundreds of notes in your account already, the coder apparently thinks if you don't have a linked bank account you have no notes to chart.  Dude, just search for notes and if none are found and cash is $0, then display the orange box!

I can't do anything with it.
Without the ability to revert back to the "classic" view I would not be able to view any financial details at all. Maybe I just don't know how to get there from here. Are those large down arrows on the right side of the main fields supposed to do anything (like show more details)? Mine do nothing.

So from my perspective it's a giant leap backwards. Compared to LC it's absolutely primitive. However, I'm probably not a typical retail investor. Maybe Prospers' idea is to dumb it way down, thinking it will be less intimidating and more appealing to less hands on retail investors. Why even worry about those pesky individual note things; just details under the hood. Wonder if that's where they are going with this because the new web site appears to be a step in that direction.

On the positive side of the ledger Prosper does have a BRV. I continue to auto invest with them continuously and have no cash available. It's no secret I stopped investing in LC notes on 5/9 and am actively trying to sell on Folio. I've been able to reduce my LC holdings quite a bit over the past two months but they are still about 2X that of my Prosper investment. It was closer to 3X a couple of months ago.

I find the most useful page on the P website is https://www.prosper.com/secure/account/lender/lender_overview.aspx" class="bbc_link" target="_blank">https://www.prosper.com/secure/account/lender/lender_overview.aspx

If you can get to that page in beta view, I haven't figured out how.

I designed that page! Years and years ago now, but still nice to hear that people find it useful. Hopefully we get similar functionality at some point in the redesign. I really liked the vintage-level returns, personally.

The annualized returns by vintages is a very useful feature. I can't find it on the new site, I hope they add that. Oddly, my return values on the old and new are different.
