Investors - P / Debt Sales
November 28, 2011, 11:00:00 PM
Hi Peter:

Just had my first charge-off on Prosper.  https://forum.lendacademy.com/Smileys/default/sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" class="smiley" />

Just to be clear, I understand that the chances of recovering anything on this note are slim, but I also see that Prosper has done Debt Sales in the past. But I don't see any Debt Sale history since 2007. Is this something that the "New" Prosper no longer does?

Peter,

Would we able to get a Lending Club rep on this forum, to take suggestions for improvement? Glenn's participation on behalf of Prosper has made their site much more user-friendly. I've got a couple of suggestions for Lending Club, and I'm sure others do, too.

Investors - P / How Can Prosper Improve for Investors?

Glenn,

I agree that the changes are a big improvement. But the overview page should show a  summary of notes, counted by active, paid, late, in review, listed for trade. And you should be able to pull up inventory detail for each category count by clicking on it.

And it would be nice to see collection details for past due notes, similar to what Lending Club shows.

"My Account" page should show total investment, so you don't have to add notes + cash + pending.

"Browse Listings" and  page should allow sorting by column headers.

"Search Results" should have more columns, to allow sorting by levels, ie, Level 1 = Yield, Level 2 = Term, Level 3 = Rating, etc.
