April 10, 2014, 11:00:00 PM
Does anyone know how many loans are not receiving 100% funding these days?

Investors - LC / Wells Fargo reverses ban
March 10, 2014, 11:00:00 PM

And says that what it said wasn't what it meant: Wells Fargo's statement attempted to clarify its initial position: "The original guidance given to team members was based on investing in the equity of a P2P lending company."

Investors - LC / Employer removed from loan description
September 24, 2013, 11:00:00 PM
I see listings both ways, with "Job Title," and with the old "Employer." Is this choice up to the Borrower?

Investors - LC / No new loans?
September 05, 2013, 11:00:00 PM
Any one else notice no new loans at today's 10 am posting? But total loans went from 63 to 48 in minutes, nonetheless.

Yes, core is right. There's barely time to read the employer data, and I've been skipping borrower comments, as well.

I'm probably going to follow you, if not this week, then the next.

Investors - LC / LC website crashed?
August 19, 2013, 11:00:00 PM
"An error has occurred, it has been logged and will be addressed as soon as possible.

Incident ID 1377018601419"

For the past several minutes. Anyone else today?

Investors - LC / IRA Withdrawals
August 13, 2013, 11:00:00 PM
Has anyone begun IRA withdrawals? Any troubles? Obviously it would be difficult to accumulate the cash to meet a traditional IRA's RMD under LC alone, but with a Roth it wouldn't matter, as there is no RMD. Or are you all so very young that you can't imagine being age 59 1/2 . . .

Investors - LC / Four clicks required to invest?
July 27, 2013, 11:00:00 PM
Is there any way to shorten the number of clicks required to complete an order? I count a minimum of 4: add to order, view order, continue, place order. And that's for just one note in an order.

This is making it difficult to compete with the institutional computers. What am I missing?

Thanks,

Investors - LC / New LC Filter for Monthly Income
March 25, 2013, 11:00:00 PM
Anybody else having trouble getting this filter to work? It's returning invalid results for me, despite logging in and out several times today.

Prosper needs to update Debt Sales data. They don't show any historical data past 2007:
Dec 2007
701 loans sold
12.5%: Homeowners
9.6%: Non-homeowners with AA and A credit grades
9.1%: Non-homeowners with B, C, and D credit grades
7.3%: Non-homeowners with E and HR credit grades
4.8%: Non-homeowners with NC credit grades
3.5%: Texas residents
Aug 2007
309 loans sold
23.0%: Weighted average price for AA and A credit grades
13.3%: Weighted average price for B, C, and D credit grades
8.1%: Weighted average price for E and HR credit grades
May 2007
294 loans sold
16 - 19%: Homeowners
2.4 - 3.3%: Non-homeowners
Dec 2006
51 loans sold
27 - 30%: Homeowners with any credit grade
15 - 18%: Non-homeowners with a credit grade of D and above
3.0 - 3.7%: Non-homeowners with a credit grade of E and HR

Investors - LC / Borrower deceased
May 19, 2012, 11:00:00 PM
My account has a late note with the annotation "Borrower Deceased."

Here's the LC FAQ on the subject: "If a borrower dies with a loan in repayment, the executor or administrator of the estate must send a death certificate to Lending Club, after which Lending Club will file a claim on the borrower's estate to recover the outstanding loan balance. The amount to be recovered for each lender will be determined by a) the size of the estate and b) each lender's proportional share of the loan. Depending on the size of the estate, lenders may only receive a partial repayment. In the case where the estate does not include sufficient assets to cover the outstanding loan balance, the loan will be written off as defaulted with zero value."

Any idea how long this process will take? Obviously it's a function of state probate law. This particular state has a deadline of 8 months to file an accounting. And I wonder how many borrowers have died before payoff? Are those stats available?

Investors - LC / Check received after Charged Off
May 11, 2012, 11:00:00 PM
Collection Log:
4/18/12 Received check payment
3/26/12 Borrower contacted Collections Agency
3/18/12 Charged off. Payment 120+ past due.

So when will LC post to my investor account the funds received after charge off? Any clue as to how this works? It's been over three weeks since the payment was made and my investor account hasn't received a penny of the 4/18 payment.

Investors - P / Monthly statements
March 11, 2012, 11:00:00 PM
Prosper has not yet issued monthly statements for January and February 2012. This is worrisome and inconvenient, but does it foretell bigger problems at Prosper?

Investors - LC / LC Acct Manager
February 12, 2012, 11:00:00 PM
I don't particularly like my assigned LC "Acct Manager." Nothing big, just personal -- his answers are glib and smooth, but vague and lacking in substance. (I think he used to sell skiboats or aluminum siding?)

Anyone request a new Acct Manager? I silently applaud when someone else picks up, and just ask them my question.
