00:00.660 --> 00:03.450 Oz Konar: Hey everyone, Oz Konar here with Business Lending 00:03.450 --> 00:06.870 Blueprint. In today's video, I want to talk about a recent 00:06.870 --> 00:11.280 article of mine that got published by nasdaq.com. And 00:11.280 --> 00:14.880 we'll talk about why that is so important for you. So in this 00:14.880 --> 00:18.330 video, I'm going to cover the future of alternative lending 00:18.330 --> 00:22.590 industry, we're in 2021. And we're going to take a peek at 00:22.590 --> 00:26.760 what will happen in the next couple of years, and why that's 00:26.790 --> 00:31.560 a game changer. And I'll backup all my claims with data, as I 00:31.560 --> 00:35.400 did on that article that I published on nasdaq.com. So if 00:35.400 --> 00:38.280 you stay tuned until the end, you're gonna know a lot about 00:38.280 --> 00:40.560 this industry. Obviously, if you've been following my 00:40.560 --> 00:44.430 channel, you know that we represent the largest network of 00:44.430 --> 00:47.880 business loan brokers in the alternative lending industry, we 00:47.880 --> 00:50.700 have the largest and the most results driven training 00:50.700 --> 00:54.450 platform. That's why I frequently publish articles. And 00:54.450 --> 00:59.190 I've been coded by Entrepreneur Magazine and Forbes magazine and 00:59.190 --> 01:02.580 Thrive Global. And now my full article is published on 01:02.580 --> 01:06.660 nasdaq.com. So I believe this is really, really important for you 01:06.660 --> 01:10.680 to understand what is alternative lending, why it has 01:10.680 --> 01:15.030 been growing beyond imagination and growing faster than some of 01:15.030 --> 01:19.590 the more popular investment tools such as real estate or in 01:19.590 --> 01:22.320 a stock market and even some of the cryptocurrencies that people 01:22.320 --> 01:25.830 talk about. So if you're ready, let's just dive right into it 01:25.830 --> 01:27.030 and talk about this. 01:37.590 --> 01:40.920 Alright, so alternative lending industry. So some of you might 01:40.920 --> 01:43.500 not even know what that means. So let's let me just take you 01:43.500 --> 01:47.220 back to a little a history of this industry that alternative 01:47.220 --> 01:51.120 lending has been in existence for a long, long time. But the 01:51.120 --> 01:55.710 current definition kind of took shape after the 2008 recession. 01:55.710 --> 01:59.880 So alternative lending is any type of lending that's non bank 01:59.880 --> 02:03.480 lending, right. So traditionally, when somebody a 02:03.480 --> 02:08.340 company needs money, they just go through their banks, right? I 02:08.340 --> 02:13.200 mean, even big banks, back in the day used to loan money to US 02:13.200 --> 02:16.740 governments, and that's the tradition, like anyone needs 02:16.740 --> 02:20.040 money, they go through these big banks. But that has been 02:20.040 --> 02:24.420 changing, especially the unexpected turnaround of 2018 02:24.420 --> 02:28.920 recession led big banks to restrict their funding criteria. 02:29.070 --> 02:31.860 And what's their highest risk, they in their eyes, the highest 02:31.860 --> 02:37.290 risk is letting small businesses get access to capital. So that 02:37.290 --> 02:40.830 created an avalanche of demand for funding since it has been 02:40.830 --> 02:45.810 restricted by these large banks, these small businesses, by small 02:45.810 --> 02:50.520 I'm talking about zero to five to $10 million in revenue, your 02:50.520 --> 02:53.790 mom and pop businesses pretty much, they need access to 02:53.790 --> 02:57.600 capital. And unlike big banks of large corporations, their 02:57.600 --> 03:01.110 funding needs are not in millions, they're not a small 03:01.110 --> 03:05.370 business doesn't really need 2, 3, 4, 5 million. Sometimes they 03:05.370 --> 03:11.670 need like 50,000 25,000 $100,000. And that gave birth to 03:11.670 --> 03:14.520 the boost old alternative lending industry. And that 03:14.520 --> 03:19.680 industry is supported by private investors, sometimes private 03:19.710 --> 03:23.340 banks, and people who have access to capital and they want 03:23.340 --> 03:25.560 to earn some interest on their money, right? That's what 03:25.560 --> 03:28.830 alternative lending industry is, well, just because you have the 03:28.830 --> 03:31.290 investors doesn't mean that everything is going to work 03:31.290 --> 03:34.260 properly, then you need brokers, who's going to get it in front 03:34.260 --> 03:37.830 of the business owners and introduce this relatively new 03:37.830 --> 03:42.750 form of lending. So that's been happening since 2008, for anyone 03:42.750 --> 03:45.450 who's been following me for the past couple of years, I keep 03:45.450 --> 03:50.310 talking about the massive increase, exponential growth and 03:50.310 --> 03:54.180 the size of this industry and exponential growth and the 03:54.210 --> 03:57.480 demand, right. So if you understand a bit about supply 03:57.480 --> 04:00.990 and demand cycle, while when there's demand for something, 04:01.440 --> 04:05.070 supply needs to come in and supply that demand. So what's 04:05.070 --> 04:07.770 happening in the alternative lending industry is demand has 04:07.770 --> 04:11.760 been growing crazy and crazy increments. Currently, when I 04:11.760 --> 04:15.120 first started, and if you go back and watch any of my videos 04:15.120 --> 04:19.200 from three, four years ago, I said that this is a $300 billion 04:19.500 --> 04:23.310 industry. Fast forward today, according to Business Insider 04:23.310 --> 04:25.890 article, which I'm going to be posting all the links below this 04:25.890 --> 04:31.710 video. Now the demand is over $5 trillion and supply although 04:31.710 --> 04:35.790 money is there, then the businesses are not informed 04:35.820 --> 04:38.910 enough to take advantage of their capital, right. So 04:38.910 --> 04:42.570 businesses need capital, but when you just, you know, go out 04:42.570 --> 04:45.540 there and talk to business owners and ask them how they 04:45.540 --> 04:49.440 would get capital, how they would get working capital loans 04:49.440 --> 04:52.140 and funding for their businesses. What source would 04:52.140 --> 04:54.870 they go through? A lot of will tell you that would just go to 04:54.870 --> 04:58.320 their banks. Unless they have really wealthy friends and 04:58.320 --> 05:00.900 family who can just loan them money right? Most people don't. 05:01.230 --> 05:07.080 So this is a way for business loan brokers to capitalize on 05:07.080 --> 05:11.040 this and have access to trillions of dollars of capital 05:11.160 --> 05:15.960 and channel it to the parties who need it. So in this article 05:15.960 --> 05:20.940 that I wrote down and it was published, on Nasdaq, one of the 05:20.940 --> 05:23.850 things that's mentioned, according to Dun and Bradstreet, 05:23.880 --> 05:26.640 Dun and Bradstreet is the largest data company that has 05:26.670 --> 05:31.320 holds all the data on small business financing, small 05:31.320 --> 05:35.610 business credit, any data small business has, is housed there. 05:35.610 --> 05:39.450 According to them, alternative lending is currently not only 05:39.450 --> 05:43.320 supplying funding for small businesses, over the next few 05:43.320 --> 05:46.110 years, even the midsize businesses and these are 05:46.170 --> 05:50.250 businesses from 5 million to $100 million in revenue, right? 05:50.400 --> 05:54.600 Even the midsize businesses will need funding. So now you're not 05:54.600 --> 05:57.930 just funding as a business loan broker, small amount, but Mom 05:57.930 --> 06:01.950 and Pop deals are 25, 50, $100,000, you're gonna have way 06:01.950 --> 06:05.430 larger opportunities of funding, you know, 2 million, 5 million 06:05.430 --> 06:10.710 and $10 million. And according to another article 40% of the 06:10.710 --> 06:13.500 people who dealt with alternative lending industry, 06:15.210 --> 06:18.780 you know, confirm that their experience was was way better, 06:18.840 --> 06:21.630 they got way better results than going through a bank, because 06:21.630 --> 06:24.450 that's this is currently happening right now, right? If 06:24.450 --> 06:28.170 you try to go through a bank, for whether it's for your PPP, 06:28.170 --> 06:31.950 or you're for government loan or for an actual business law, the 06:31.950 --> 06:34.920 process is dreadful, and really, really paying for it takes 06:34.920 --> 06:39.180 forever to get an update event to find out what requirements 06:39.210 --> 06:42.810 they want for you to complete. So you can proceed to the next 06:42.810 --> 06:46.350 step. And although and also on top of that, the whole process 06:46.350 --> 06:49.560 takes sometimes weeks and months, right. So we're on an 06:49.560 --> 06:52.560 ever changing environment right now as technology is moving 06:52.560 --> 06:56.610 really, really fast. And the traditional banking system is 06:56.610 --> 07:00.690 lagging behind, because it's very tough for them to catch up 07:00.690 --> 07:03.600 with all of this happening right now. It's like trying to 07:03.600 --> 07:07.440 navigate an aircraft carrier, it's not really that easy to 07:07.800 --> 07:10.380 make your right turn, when you see it, the industry is going in 07:10.380 --> 07:15.240 that direction. But alternative lending is really nimble in that 07:15.240 --> 07:18.150 sense. And they can just move really, really fast. That's why 07:18.150 --> 07:22.290 as adjusting to the needs of people. Also we're experiencing 07:22.290 --> 07:26.730 a minimum of 17% growth year over year on the alternative 07:26.730 --> 07:30.270 lending industry talk about being an early implementer, 07:30.360 --> 07:32.820 whether you're investing into alternative lending industry, 07:32.820 --> 07:36.360 whether you're investing in yourself to start this business, 07:36.510 --> 07:40.860 this is the perfect time to do that, right, because we have 07:40.860 --> 07:45.600 this massive demand and supplies right here, right. So there is 07:45.600 --> 07:49.140 more opportunities than we can handle right now. That's when 07:49.140 --> 07:52.800 you want to get into the market. You don't want to get into a 07:52.800 --> 07:56.940 business when demand is here, supplies right there. And you're 07:56.940 --> 08:00.300 trying to find a spot for yourself. And between that mark, 08:00.330 --> 08:03.660 you're competing with a ton of other people, we've seen that in 08:03.870 --> 08:08.430 energy field, the deregulated energy, everyone is selling gas 08:08.430 --> 08:12.000 and electricity services and Pennsylvania and Texas and all 08:12.000 --> 08:16.110 those places, right. We've seen it on certain products, such as 08:16.110 --> 08:19.050 payrolls, such a commodity product, and credit card 08:19.050 --> 08:22.650 processing. But lending is not that you're in the business of 08:22.650 --> 08:26.460 providing money to other businesses. That's why we've 08:26.460 --> 08:29.400 been seeing an explosive growth in our community to a lot of 08:29.400 --> 08:34.530 people are seeing the value in this because it takes a couple 08:34.530 --> 08:38.970 of things to have massive success in life, I'm talking 08:38.970 --> 08:42.900 about the financial success. One thing is you shouldn't be afraid 08:43.020 --> 08:46.530 of investing in yourself, that's really, really important, which 08:46.530 --> 08:50.190 is obvious, right? Unless you keep adding more skills to your 08:50.190 --> 08:54.960 arsenal, you're gonna fall fall behind, and your marketable 08:54.960 --> 08:58.830 skills will be smaller and smaller, smaller, that will be 08:58.830 --> 09:02.490 reflected on your pay rate. That's why some of the jobs will 09:02.490 --> 09:06.450 not exist five to 10 years from now. And those individuals who 09:06.450 --> 09:09.780 are not investing in themselves will fall behind and the market 09:09.780 --> 09:13.290 is not going to reward them with more money because there's 09:13.290 --> 09:16.440 really no need for their services anymore. So investing 09:16.440 --> 09:19.950 in yourself, it goes without saying is very fundamental, 09:19.950 --> 09:24.690 essential, it's vital to your group, group growth. So besides 09:24.690 --> 09:27.300 that, when you invest in yourself, you gotta, you gotta 09:27.300 --> 09:29.880 know where to invest, right? There are a lot of things that 09:29.880 --> 09:33.150 you can invest in right now. Like your mental energy, your 09:33.150 --> 09:36.870 financial resources, and people have finite amount of financial 09:36.870 --> 09:39.420 resources. So that's, that's really important, where you 09:39.420 --> 09:42.420 spend, spend, spend your money and your time. Those are two 09:42.420 --> 09:46.260 important things, right? So if you agree on investing in 09:46.260 --> 09:48.930 yourself, the second thing is you got to make sure you're 09:48.930 --> 09:54.210 investing in something that has more demand. It's been growing, 09:54.240 --> 09:57.660 you catch the growth wave, you don't want to catch a wave when 09:57.660 --> 10:00.690 it's at the top because then it might just come down, it might 10:00.690 --> 10:03.750 just flatten out, it's like getting into the stock market at 10:03.750 --> 10:07.530 the top of 2008. You know, everyone thought that it was the 10:07.530 --> 10:11.070 best time to get in, then it crashed. This is the same thing 10:11.070 --> 10:14.640 you want to get into an industry, while it is doing like 10:14.640 --> 10:17.760 a vertical, almost vertical takeoff, that is what we're 10:17.760 --> 10:19.320 experiencing right now. 10:19.320 --> 10:23.079 So if you want to see yourself in a position to build a seven, 10:23.140 --> 10:26.657 maybe eight figure business, maybe less than that, I don't 10:26.718 --> 10:30.477 know what your goal is, right? But let's take a bigger goal of 10:30.538 --> 10:33.873 building a seven and eight figure business, you want to 10:33.934 --> 10:37.815 start doing that on an industry that's on a growth pace, and has 10:37.876 --> 10:41.696 a very desire product, which is money, I don't know any product 10:41.757 --> 10:45.213 that's less sexier than money, right? That's, that's more 10:45.274 --> 10:48.791 sexier than money. And that's the second one. So invest in 10:48.852 --> 10:52.733 yourself, invest in yourself on an industry, on a business, that 10:52.793 --> 10:56.614 that's in the growth mode. The third one is do not be a passive 10:56.674 --> 11:00.252 investor, meaning that, start your own business do not just 11:00.313 --> 11:03.830 passively consume information online. So listening to this 11:03.891 --> 11:07.165 video five times will not improve your life unless you 11:07.226 --> 11:10.925 take action and be a business owner. Okay? Even if you have a 11:10.986 --> 11:14.685 reliable job, and you've been working there for 10, 15 years, 11:14.745 --> 11:18.384 I mean, we've seen the story back in March 2020, right, that 11:18.444 --> 11:22.143 when the pandemic started a lot, a lot, a lot of those secure 11:22.204 --> 11:25.782 jobs disappeared. And it could be something else five years 11:25.843 --> 11:29.117 from now. So try to think in terms of like five years. 11:29.178 --> 11:32.938 Setting yourself five year goals and decide to be in business, 11:32.998 --> 11:36.515 whether you are you become a business owner in alternative 11:36.576 --> 11:40.275 lending or some other thing that you know, always plan ahead, 11:40.336 --> 11:43.914 right. So a lot of people go with the hype, enjoying things 11:43.974 --> 11:47.431 that when it's at the top or when it's already declining, 11:47.491 --> 11:51.069 right. So this article which again, I'll have all the links 11:51.130 --> 11:54.526 for the reference that I made to the resource at Dun and 11:54.586 --> 11:58.407 Bradstreet at Business Insider, and other resources and article 11:58.467 --> 12:02.045 at Nasdaq, you'll be able to see all of that below. Just go 12:02.106 --> 12:05.684 through that consume that and make a decision to own a real 12:05.744 --> 12:09.565 business, invest in yourself and take advantage of this whether 12:09.625 --> 12:13.567 you're investing your money into alternative lending, whether you 12:13.628 --> 12:17.448 are starting this business as a business loan broker, you know, 12:17.509 --> 12:21.026 get in get in the industry, that's going to give you a 10, 12:21.086 --> 12:24.846 15 and 30x ROI, then working on really just hypothetical gains 12:24.907 --> 12:28.303 on stock market and maybe cryptocurrency and other areas 12:28.363 --> 12:31.820 that everyone is talking about, but no one is really that 12:31.880 --> 12:35.398 informed to tell you if it is going to go beyond a certain 12:35.458 --> 12:39.097 limit or not. With this, I can almost guarantee you that the 12:39.157 --> 12:42.735 alternative lending industry is going to keep growing. Why? 12:42.796 --> 12:46.131 Well, I mean, look at Canada, United States look at the 12:46.192 --> 12:50.073 demand, not only people want the money, they're pleased with the 12:50.133 --> 12:53.893 exchange, you're working with an alternative lending industry, 12:53.954 --> 12:57.713 I'm looking at their lines of products that we're training our 12:57.774 --> 13:01.473 members on. This is not like back in the day that people only 13:01.534 --> 13:04.990 are interested and only know about merchant cash advance, 13:05.051 --> 13:08.750 which has a very high interest rate, right a factor rate. Now 13:08.811 --> 13:12.752 we're training our members on 10 plus different products and some 13:12.813 --> 13:16.573 of them and 0% interest for like 15 to 24 months, right. And I 13:16.633 --> 13:20.211 you know, for people in my inner circle, I talk a lot about 13:20.272 --> 13:24.092 building businesses through OPM, which is other people's money, 13:24.153 --> 13:27.670 building businesses on credit that doesn't really cost you 13:27.731 --> 13:31.612 much, like think about what you need to do to get a positive ROI 13:31.672 --> 13:35.311 on funding at 0%. Like if you have 15 months to make two, 3% 13:35.371 --> 13:39.131 ROI on some kind of credit that you receive at 0%, it's almost 13:39.192 --> 13:42.830 no brainer. Like you got to we got to figure out a way to at 13:42.891 --> 13:46.529 least be make 5% on that money. So you're on the positive. I 13:46.590 --> 13:50.107 hope this is this is making sense, right? People don't use 13:50.168 --> 13:53.564 credit, because either they don't trust themselves, that 13:53.624 --> 13:57.263 they're not going to make the best use of the money they get 13:57.323 --> 14:00.841 or they don't understand it. So I wanted to make sure that 14:00.901 --> 14:04.055 you're clear that now alternative lending has access 14:04.115 --> 14:07.572 to a broader especially at Business Lending Blueprint, we 14:07.632 --> 14:11.089 have the access to a broader spectrum, of pretty much any 14:11.150 --> 14:14.667 product that would work for your clients from 0% to really 14:14.727 --> 14:18.487 expensive ones depending on the demand. If someone needs money 14:18.548 --> 14:21.822 tomorrow, they'll be more expensive, someone needs, if 14:21.883 --> 14:25.582 someone is in a better situation and they might need a longer 14:25.643 --> 14:29.342 terms and better conditions that is all available. That's why 14:29.402 --> 14:32.920 from day one, we've been a supporter of the entire lending 14:32.980 --> 14:36.558 industry. And I made it my mission to train everyone in our 14:36.619 --> 14:40.136 platform on different lending options. So when they get in 14:40.197 --> 14:43.653 front of a customer, they contribute to that 40% feedback 14:43.714 --> 14:47.170 saying that, you know, 40% of people are like this was an 14:47.231 --> 14:51.173 amazing experience versus a bank loan. Right? That that number is 14:51.233 --> 14:54.629 huge, right? That's really, really huge. That's why it's 14:54.690 --> 14:58.571 important that if you decide to invest in yourself and join this 14:58.631 --> 15:02.270 business model, you want to work with companies who give you 15:02.330 --> 15:06.030 direct access to the lenders lending sources, so there are no 15:06.090 --> 15:09.850 middleman. But at the same time, they provide you the coaching 15:09.911 --> 15:13.003 and guidance required without taking away from your 15:13.064 --> 15:16.520 commission. Because if that's the case, you're not really 15:16.581 --> 15:20.401 building your business, you're working for somebody who's going 15:20.462 --> 15:24.040 to who's going to have, who's gonna keep you under control, 15:24.101 --> 15:27.739 because they have access to the partners and lenders and all 15:27.800 --> 15:31.014 that stuff. So build a real business, I hope this was 15:31.074 --> 15:34.288 helpful for you to understand the alternative lending 15:34.349 --> 15:37.745 industry, the size of it, the direction of it, I'll keep 15:37.805 --> 15:41.626 repeating that this industry is going to grow, my prediction is 15:41.686 --> 15:45.082 gonna go beyond 50, $60 trillion. In combination of, you 15:45.143 --> 15:48.599 know, United States and Canada and other English speaking 15:48.660 --> 15:52.359 countries, we're seeing a lot of movements and Australia, New 15:52.420 --> 15:56.058 Zealand, and England, UK, right? So there's going to be more 15:56.119 --> 15:59.697 adjustment in the market place and there's going to be more 15:59.757 --> 16:03.578 application of the alternative lending industry. So I just want 16:03.638 --> 16:07.398 you to see the big picture with this. I hope this was helpful. 16:07.459 --> 16:11.219 Comment below and let me know what your thoughts are.
