00:06.510 --> 00:09.240 Josh Feinberg: Hi, Josh Feinberg here. I want to tell you a 00:09.240 --> 00:16.110 little story of my past week and I went to Ohio. And we had a 00:16.110 --> 00:19.560 client that we financed, I think it was like six, seven months 00:19.560 --> 00:24.030 ago, where they contacted us and they were starting up a new 00:24.030 --> 00:27.660 business. It was a processing facility along with a smoking 00:27.660 --> 00:29.880 business where they're going to smoke their own meats, whether 00:29.880 --> 00:33.960 it be sausages, summer, sausages, jerky, any type of 00:33.960 --> 00:37.140 meat you could imagine. And they contacted us, and they needed 00:37.140 --> 00:41.820 $250,000 for their startup. And we were able to secure that so 00:41.820 --> 00:45.180 they could buy the equipment they needed for smokers, for 00:45.180 --> 00:51.570 grinders, for tumblers, for coolers, for stands for, you 00:51.570 --> 00:55.500 know, cooling stations, whatever the case may be, we needed to be 00:55.500 --> 00:58.710 able to finance them. So we financed them about six months 00:58.710 --> 01:03.090 ago. And for me, I'm an avid whitetail deer hunter, I love 01:03.090 --> 01:05.970 doing it. You know, it's one of my passions, and I have so much 01:05.970 --> 01:09.060 fun doing it. And you know, for the past two years, I've been 01:09.060 --> 01:11.700 going with a marketing company that does marketing with us, and 01:11.700 --> 01:14.700 I'm ever grateful for it. But this year, I wanted to try 01:14.700 --> 01:17.400 something a little bit different. So you know, I talked 01:17.400 --> 01:20.670 to my sales team, and I said, Who do we know that hunts? Who's 01:20.670 --> 01:23.910 a client that hunts? and you know, luckily enough, I was able 01:23.910 --> 01:27.660 to come across, you know, this transaction and this customer 01:27.660 --> 01:31.620 that financed equipment through us for a smoking business. And 01:31.620 --> 01:35.040 I'm like, that's fantastic. So I reached out and had a great 01:35.040 --> 01:38.160 conversation with him. And he said, Hey, I want you to come 01:38.160 --> 01:41.730 out here, I'll figure out a place that you can hunt. And it 01:41.730 --> 01:44.010 will be great. You know, I can't promise anything, but you'll 01:44.010 --> 01:48.690 have a great time. So actually took the time and drove the 10 01:48.690 --> 01:50.460 and a half hours to Ohio. 01:54.260 --> 02:04.370 Alright let's get it moving. Got about I think, six hours, six 02:04.370 --> 02:11.390 hours and 15 minutes left. till we get to Ohio. We met with him 02:11.480 --> 02:15.980 at his house, it was a great time I got to meet him his wife. 02:16.700 --> 02:20.660 It was awesome. So then from there, he brought us over to the 02:20.660 --> 02:23.450 processing plant where we finance. Now to tell you the 02:23.450 --> 02:28.280 truth, you don't really get to see and feel, you know, the 02:28.280 --> 02:31.040 surroundings of what you finance, right, because a lot of 02:31.040 --> 02:34.010 what we do is over the phone or over the Internet, and we don't 02:34.010 --> 02:37.310 get to see it. But this, he brought me in, he brought me in 02:37.310 --> 02:39.920 and showed me, you know, all the different things that we 02:39.920 --> 02:44.270 financed and all the exciting things that you know, we're 02:44.270 --> 02:48.020 going to be able to see. And Dennis is the one who actually, 02:48.020 --> 02:50.450 you know, invited me out there, you know, he's the builder 02:50.450 --> 02:53.330 constructor, he's the guy who helps build everything out. 02:53.390 --> 02:55.370 There's three partners, there's Dennis who does the 02:55.370 --> 02:58.790 construction, Dave, who actually, you know, does all the 02:58.790 --> 03:02.060 type of smoking and he's a smoking enthusiast, and he's so 03:02.060 --> 03:06.020 good at smoking meat and being able to create masterpieces of 03:06.020 --> 03:10.310 meat for you know, consumption. And then there's Bob, and he 03:10.310 --> 03:12.920 helped out, you know, financially, and being able to 03:12.920 --> 03:16.190 grow this, so I got to meet all three of them. And they showed 03:16.190 --> 03:18.500 me what they're working on and they're so close to getting it 03:18.500 --> 03:21.980 finished and opened up, I would highly suggest looking up 03:21.980 --> 03:25.010 "Smokin Dave's" it's going to be you know, operating, I would say 03:25.010 --> 03:27.920 within the next month, where you can actually get some great 03:27.920 --> 03:30.740 products, you know, they're even going to be able to tell you, 03:30.950 --> 03:33.830 the meat that you're eating, where it came from, what they 03:33.830 --> 03:38.450 ate, and it's unbelievable. But, you know, they walked me around 03:38.480 --> 03:42.290 their building that they've been working on for seven years, and 03:42.320 --> 03:44.390 you know, the equipment that they're putting in and what 03:44.390 --> 03:46.130 they're going to do and how they're going to be able to 03:46.130 --> 03:49.130 smoke it, you know, they're able to show me the spices, the 03:49.130 --> 03:51.590 different spices and cures that they're going to be using for 03:51.590 --> 03:54.920 their meat. It's just an unbelievable establishment. But 03:54.920 --> 03:58.400 it's a you know, it's amazing to see the delight in people's 03:58.400 --> 04:02.030 faces when they're talking about their dreams and aspirations. In 04:02.030 --> 04:04.880 a you know, it's a different type of area out in Ohio, 04:05.060 --> 04:08.690 comparatively to where we are, you know, you know, they're 04:08.690 --> 04:12.020 very, you know, blue collar folk, right, they work hard 04:12.020 --> 04:14.810 their whole lives, you know, it's the three of them, they 04:14.810 --> 04:17.450 want all went to school together. And they're really 04:17.450 --> 04:21.680 building something amazing for their community. And I'm so 04:21.680 --> 04:24.800 excited to see where it takes them. It was such a good 04:24.800 --> 04:28.580 experience. I learned so much about work ethic, and you know, 04:28.580 --> 04:31.850 where they came from and how they got to where they are. And 04:31.850 --> 04:34.520 it was just unbelievable hearing and listening to the 04:34.520 --> 04:38.660 backgrounds. You know, in I'm sure there's been footage that 04:38.660 --> 04:41.600 you've seen throughout this, of the processing plants, it's 04:41.600 --> 04:44.690 absolutely beautiful and I couldn't be happier. And you 04:44.690 --> 04:48.530 know, I want to thank Dennis and whoever was able to put that 04:48.530 --> 04:53.360 trip together. Together. It was just awesome. And you know, here 04:53.360 --> 04:55.610 I'll show you a picture. You know, he was able to put me on 04:55.610 --> 04:59.300 this beautiful white tailed deer and it was just an amazing 04:59.300 --> 05:02.240 experience to hear you know, he's been hunting his whole life 05:02.390 --> 05:05.360 and it was great to hear his experiences and just really 05:05.360 --> 05:08.270 build a connection. And you know, a lot of people say what 05:08.270 --> 05:11.030 is the difference of Everlasting Capital comparatively that 05:11.030 --> 05:14.330 anyone else? I don't know what other business owner in the 05:14.330 --> 05:17.210 financial space is going on and actually hanging out with their 05:17.210 --> 05:20.210 clients. And that's all we try to do is we tried to build long 05:20.210 --> 05:23.720 standing relationships, but at the end, it always turns into a 05:23.720 --> 05:24.410 friendship.
