First Ever deBanked Podcast Examines Co-brokering DealsFebruary 16, 2016 | By: deBanked Staff
This week deBanked will release its first-ever recorded debate-turned-podcast. Moderated by Sean Murray, guests Arty Bujan and John Tucker discuss the merits of a growing industry phenomenon, co-brokering.
UPDATE: Podcast available here
Co-brokering is when a commercial finance broker sends their deal to another broker instead of directly to a lender. Tucker argues that there’s no reason for brokers to do that while Bujan has made an entire career off of servicing other brokers. Both individuals have worked in the industry for a long time and each have been very vocal about their points of view.
John Tucker, 1st Capital Loans
Tucker has guest authored numerous stories for deBanked and The Green Sheet. On The Green Sheet, Tucker is the author of a series titled, “The One Man Show,” the basis of which stems from his experience as a self-employed entrepreneur in the merchant services and business finance industries. His company 1st Capital Loans launched eight years ago.
Arty Bujan, Cardinal Equity
Bujan’s company Cardinal Equity, is one of the leading service providers for commercial finance brokers. Describing himself as more than just an expert broker, Bujan operates in one of the most competitive environments in the nation, on Wall Street in New York City. Harder-to-fund files are his bread and butter.
For anyone who has ever pondered the merits of co-brokering, you won’t want to miss this debate. deBanked will publish the audio on the site this week (and will later attempt to make available in the iTunes and Google Play Stores).Last modified: February 29, 2016
